Personal Profile

Tim worked initially in a private practice where he had responsibility for delivering projects on behalf of government bodies such as the Institute of Terrestrial Ecology and the Hydraulics Research Station. In 1985 he moved to a practice which gave him his first introduction to healthcare architecture including an opportunity to work on the country’s first designated AIDS Ward, the first Adolescent Oncology Unit, as well as numerous other healthcare facilities.

For a period of time Tim worked in the offices of the Estates Department of University College, London NHS Trust during which time he project managed the relocation and closure of wards within the hospital’s original cruciform building. He joined Tangram Architects in 1994 and is currently a director with responsibility for delivering projects for a number of public and private sector healthcare clients. His duties include management of personnel including staff training and professional development.
